DPT 649 Pharmacology

The learner analyzes pharmacologic principles relevant to physical therapist practice, including medication effects on patient presentation, prognosis, rehabilitation timing, safety, and outcomes. The learner applies medication screening, side-effect recognition, clinical reasoning, patient education, and communication with prescribing providers to support safe patient management within primary care and rehabilitation contexts.
