DPT 602 Human Physiology and Pathophysiology
The learner examines physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms across major body systems relevant to physical therapist practice. Learners analyze cellular, tissue, and systemic contributors to disease, stress responses,and health disparities while developing foundational reasoning for recognizing clinical signs, red flags, and conditions requiring medical screening or referral. Prerequisites: Admission to program.
