Completion of an English foundations course (ENG 101, ENG 106, ENG 108, ENG 180 or equivalent) is required as a prerequisite for any 200-level course in English. Completion of a 200-level English or any LIT-designation course or the instructor’s permission is a prerequisite for any 300-level course in English. Specific course prerequisites are listed underneath the course description.  Students cannot receive credit for more than one English foundations course.
