ENG 106 EAP: Academic Research Writing

A research and composition course designed for non-native English speaking students. Emphasizes distinct areas of planning, conducting and writing for an independent research project including topic selection, thesis generation, research skills, primary and secondary source selection, validation of sources, draft and detailed outlining, literature reviews, interviewing techniques, questionnaire generation, introductory and concluding sections, effective use of work by other authors and researchers, organized presentation of findings, and well-supported argumentation and analysis.
