DPT 601 Physical Therapy Fundamentals

The learner develops foundational physical therapy skills for patient-centered care across practice settings. Learners develop beginning competencies in interviewing, documentation, examination, outcomes measurement, body mechanics, goniometry, range of motion, muscle testing, vital signs, transfers, and assistive device training while applying the ICF model to organize data and support clinical reasoning. Prerequisites: Admission to program.
