SLP 528 Motor Speech Assess/Interv

Students examine adult motor speech disorders, including the dysarthria and acquired apraxia of speech, with attention to neurological and speech production mechanisms. The course emphasizes factors shaping differential diagnosis and supports development of a patient-centered, evidence-based framework that integrates multicultural, environmental, and psychosocial influences on communication and rehabilitation.
