SLP 510 Language Development Birth-3
Students explore early language disorders through prelinguistic and emerging language development. The course emphasizes linguistic foundations, cultural and developmental variation, and factors that shape early communication. Students build clinical reasoning skills for identifying language delays, disorders, and differences to support diverse children through developmentally informed, evidence-based assessment and intervention. Prerequisite: Admission to the program.
