SLP 518 Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing

Students explore developmental, anatomical, and environmental factors that shape pediatric feeding and swallowing across medically complex and neurotypical populations. The course emphasizes culturally responsive, family-centered care and integration of behavioral, sensory, and motor perspectives. Students develop a clinical framework for interpreting feeding challenges and supporting ethical, individualized management. Prerequisite: SLP-520
