SLP 504 Neuroscience for SLPs
Students explore the neural foundations of speech, language, and swallowing, examining how brain structures and cognitive processes support communication. The course emphasizes brain-behavior relationships, functional neurophysiology, and the impact of neural disruption on communication abilities, preparing students to integrate neuroanatomical knowledge into advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
