OTD 635 Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Students examine the etiology, symptoms, and interventions of various disabling musculoskeletal conditions commonly treated by occupational therapy. Topics include assessment of muscle function, range of motion, joint mobilization, sensation, pain, edema, and wounds. Intervention practices pertaining to musculoskeletal conditions will be examined. This course includes an experiential lab component. Prerequisites: OTD-622, OTD-624, OTD-625, OTD-629
