OTD 600 Foundations in OT Practice
Students will examine the historical foundations, philosophical base, core values, and code of ethics of the profession. Occupation-based models of practice and the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF) are examined with a focus on the domain. Professional development and the transition to professional roles is facilitated. This course includes an experiential lab component. Prerequisites: Admission to program.
