OTD 615 Wellness and Health Promotion

Students will explore the role of occupational therapy in public health, wellness, and health promotion. Students will examine public health policies, develop occupation-based environments using health assessments, and understand the impact of business practices on wellness programs. Key topics include service competency, professional development, ethics, and community engagement. This course includes an experiential lab component. Prerequisites: OTD-600, OTD-602, OTD-603 and OTD-604.
