NUR 131 Pharmacology for Healthcare Providers
This course introduces basic concepts of pharmacotherapeutics. The focus is on mechanics of drug administration, along with concepts related to safety and governmental regulations. Specific emphasis will placed on measures to ensure prevention of medication errors and the evolving science of pharmacology. Prerequisite:
NUR-101 and
HSC-215 with a grade of C (2.0), Co-requisite:
NUR-102 and
HSC-216.
