Master of Healthcare Administration
The Master of Healthcare Administration program is designed to graduate students who will be successful managers and leaders of their healthcare organizations, with the knowledge and skills to help assure their organization’s financial sustainability in an era of unprecedented healthcare reform and regulation.
The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program at Wilson College is designed for working adults. The program can be completed in 2 years and the 8-week courses are offered online. The program offers a variety of online features from ongoing interactive topic discussions to modules featuring real-world assignments. Those enrolled in the MHA select a concentration in Financial Sustainability or Strategic Leadership. Individuals may also work with the program director to identify and develop a concentration that meets their professional goals. The MHA curriculum features collaborative, practice-based learning that features the best practices for students to master the knowledge and skill sets expected by leading healthcare organizations.
Wilson’s program differs from traditional healthcare management or healthcare administration programs offered by other institutions because of the ability to create a focus in financial sustainability or strategic leadership and in our ability to be nimble in keeping our courses current with the ever-changing regulatory environment.
The MHA is a 10-course program that can be completed on a part-time basis while the student continues to work. Wilson College has more than 30 years of experience in educating the part-time adult student.
Students who want to earn the MHA degree online may do so in one year by taking two courses per term.
