NUR 588 Research and Statistics for Nursing

Provides students with the knowledge and skills to use, interpret and evaluate the statistical analysis techniques that are frequently encountered in the clinical literature of nursing, medicine, psychology and epidemiology. Includes an understanding of descriptive statistics, probability, linear regression and epidemiological concepts. Prerequisite: MAT 115 or PSY 115, Admission to the MSN program. (5 sem. hrs.)
