NUR 535 Advanced Pathophysiology

Focuses on pathophysiological processes across the lifespan and development of clinical reasoning skills in understanding system alterations produced by disease. Emphasis is on the etiology, pathogenesis, developmental and environmental influences, and clinical manifestations of major health problems. Explores regulatory and compensatory mechanisms that aim at maintaining and restoring homeostasis. Prerequisite: Admission to the MSN program.
