Strategic Communications, Bachelor of Arts

The major in communications is interdisciplinary in nature, bringing together the digital arts and humanities and the social sciences in order to examine and create communications campaigns from initial stages of conceptualization to fully developed models and projects.

From printed books to social media, students will study the historical, ethical, and theoretical roots of communications and apply them in such strategic fields as advertising, marketing, law, and business. Students will also develop proficiencies in digital design using current industry hardware and software and will use such skills in applied settings.
