ENV 224 Environmental Law & Economics

An introduction to the American legal system and the sources of environmental law; the litigation process and other tools to resolve environmental disputes; and the impact of administrative law on the environment. The course also explores basic principles of environmental economics, including cost-benefit analysis, market-based regulation, and the economic rationale behind major environmental statutes.
