CJ 315 Gender, Crime and Justice

This course analyzes how constructions of gender are expressed in laws, policing practices, and who perpetrates or is victimized by particular crimes in U.S. society. An intersectional approach to violence against women and gender non-conforming groups, as well as movements to address systemic bias and discrimination against them, also will be examined.
