CJ 301 Criminal Law and Procedure

Examines the substance of criminal law and processes of the criminal justice system. This course focuses on criminal culpability; elements of felonies and misdemeanor crimes; rights of the accused; pretrial and trial procedures; punishment and sentencing, including the death penalty. Prerequisites: Foundations in English course and PS-120 or CJ-101. ETH
