PSY 335 Evolutionary Psychology

Examines the basic mechanisms of evolution and their influence on cognition and behavior. Topics include perception, attention, learning, memory, emotion, mating and parenting strategies, kinship and social interactions, aggression, competition, altruism, cooperation, and cognitive and behavioral abnormalities. Prerequisites: PSY 207 or PSY 217 or PSY 218. NS
