HSC 209 Human Nutrition

This course is designed for health and nursing professionals to understand the current and trending discipline of nutrition, relationships of diet to health and disease, and the role of health and nursing professionals in the discipline. This course examines the nutritional needs throughout the life span with emphasis on health impact with regard to the physiological, social, economic, and life style factors that influence nutritional status, food choices, and specific life stage concerns with emphasis from a clinical perspective.
