FYS 100 First Year Seminar
Required for all first-time students in the first semester of enrollment. Waived most transfer students. The First-Year Seminar (FYS) supports students' transition to college through skill development in critical reading, analysis, and communication. The course integrates an academic seminar with plenary sessions focused on information literacy, campus resources, and academic habits essential to student success.
