ESS 281 Total Wellness

Instead of focusing on one area of health, this course will explore a variety of topics related to mental, physical and emotional well-being through a series of content focused on positive behavior change/motivation, mindfulness, self-care, etc. Other public health concerns that impact well-being (such as physical inactivity, alcohol and other drugs, grief, loneliness, mental health, etc.) may be covered. The course looks at evidence-based strategies to integrate health and wellness as a part of building resilience to manage the fluctuations of life, and to make thoughtful choices that promote overall health and well-being.
