ANS 205 Animal Studies: Farm Animals

An exploration of farm animals within the framework of normal and abnormal behaviors relative to family structure (herd, flock, drove, etc.), production (meat, milk, wool, eggs, etc.), housing and transport. Emphasis will be placed on stewardship and ethical treatment. Current issues and topics will be discussed. Prerequisite: ANS-101 and BIO-102 or BIO-110.
