NUR401 Community & Hlth Promotion

This course provides a foundation for students toýexamine factors that influence the health ofýcommunities and populations locally, nationally,ýand globally. Health promotion, healthýmaintenance, and prevention of disease areýemphasized. Epidemiological principles and dataýcollection relating to clinical decision-makingýand public policy are discussed. Prerequisite: ýNUR-330 and NUR-380 or concurrent enrollment.
