Dual Enrollment for High School Students

Wilson College welcomes qualified students from our partner high schools to take one or two courses per semester during their junior and senior year through the Dual Enrollment program. Students must be in a college preparatory curriculum and endorsed by their guidance counselor or principal as being capable of handling college-level work. Students interested in Dual Enrollment should contact the Office of Admissions to discuss the program and enrollment process. All costs are the responsibility of the student.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled high school junior and senior
  • 3.0 unweighted GPA (on a standard 4.0 scale) in high school
  • Official High School Transcripts
  • Completed Dual Enrollment Application
  • School Official Recommendation
  • ACT/SAT scores for placement purposes for Math courses only.  If students do not have SAT/ACT scores, they must complete the required Math Placement.
  • Students must be currently enrolled in high school for the duration of the college course.

Course Availability:

  • Students must meet all course prerequisites.
  • Students may enroll on a space available basis.  Dual Enrollment students may not waitlist themselves for courses.
  • Students may enroll in courses for Fall and/or Spring semesters.
  • A list of eligible courses will be provided during the registration period prior to each semester.
