Private School Special Education Certification Pathway
The Private School Special Education Certification Pathway will provide individuals courses to earn their Pennsylvania Private School Special Education Certification. Private School Certification is based on competencies as outlined by PDE and is granted solely by PDE. This program would allow those seeking Private School Special Education Certification to choose classes from a list that meets the required PDE competencies. Wilson College will provide the education via coursework, but certification rests solely on the student submitting their transcripts to PDE for approval.
Students who wish to enroll in this program must hold a bachelor’s degree and be employed by a private school. Students will apply to the program via Slate and be required to upload their transcripts and proof of employment at a Private School.
