Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science
Individuals who want to forge their own path may find themselves right at home in Entrepreneurship. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a career as an entrepreneur is ideal for those with an interest in liberal arts, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to make smart, informed business decisions. Entrepreneurship requires individuals with a sharp mind and solid decision-making skills.
Successful entrepreneurs are flexible decision makers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 7% growth in business and financial occupations through 2031. This increasing demand is being attributed to globalization and greater complexity of regulations and tax laws, in addition to a growing economy. For many business-minded self-starters, a bachelor’s degree in this field is indispensable.
Entrepreneurship majors will study small business, accounting, management, business plan writing plus prepare original case studies. Undergraduate students at Wilson College successfully completing the Entrepreneurship Major will receive a Bachelor of Science degree.
