Dance Minor

Students in the dance program have opportunities in choreography, technique, research and performance. Our dance minor is enhanced by Orchesis, a dance company in which students engage in collaborative, practice-led artistic research and dance production. Dance composition and critical feedback are emphasized as students are guided and encouraged to develop their own creative and performing abilities. Technique courses revolve around the current practices of contemporary dance. Theory and history courses are also offered on a regular, rotating basis.
