Finance, Bachelor of Arts

A Bachelor of Arts in Finance prepares individuals to plan, manage, and analyze the financial, monetary and performance aspects of business enterprises, banking institutions, or other organizations. The program includes instruction in principles of accounting, financial instruments, capital planning, funds acquisition, asset and debt management, budgeting, financial analysis, investments, international exchange, and portfolio management. The Finance major helps to prepare students for careers as personal financial advisors, financial managers, financial or budget analysts, loan officers and credit analysts, stockbrokers, investment bankers, and more.
