Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Arts
A Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice equips students to be agents of transformation and restoration within the American justice system. We seek to ensure that our graduates have skills in analytical thinking, writing, and research, which will equip them for jobs in law, law enforcement, corrections, victim advocacy, and more. Our interdisciplinary liberal arts approach ensures that graduates understand the broader political, legal, ethical, psychological, and sociological contexts of criminal justice.
The Criminal Justice program prepares students for the following careers: police officer, state trooper, paralegal, court reporter, correctional officer, victim advocate, parole office, probation officer, juvenile probation officer, youth advocate, case worker, private investigator, security officer, FBI agent, CIA analyst, border patrol agent, police detective, park ranger, bailiff, court clerk, non-profit leader, program director. With further education, students can pursue the following careers: attorney and counselor.
