VMT 417 Equine Clinical & Surgical Practices

This course involves the principles of general anesthesia and surgery in equine practice. Surgeries commonly performed in equine practice, the role of the veterinary technologist in the OR, pre- and post-surgical care for the horse, and the importance of proper home care after hospitalization will be stressed. Prerequisite: VMT 330. (4 sem. hrs.)
