PS 201 The Citizen & Government

Citizen participation most often occurs through institutions that link them with government, such as political parties, interest groups and elections. Examines each linkage institution separately and explores the relationships among them. Examines the role of mass media in elections and as a primary source of the political information citizens receive. Prerequisite: PS 110 or PS 120. CC
