CHM 104 Fund. of Organic Chem. in Biological Sys

Designed to meet a one-semester requirement in organic chemistry of biological systems. Provides an overview of nomenclature, functional groups and reactions, with an emphasis on structure and reactions in biological systems, including proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, nucleic acids and enzymes. Three hours lecture; three hours laboratory. Prerequisite: CHM 103. NSL (4 sem. hrs.)
