Accounting, Bachelor of Science
A Bachelor of Science degree in accounting presents an opportunity to acquire managerial and accounting knowledge while developing analytical abilities and critical-thinking skills necessary for careers in management and the accounting profession.
The accounting major incorporates the full body of knowledge for both certified public accountants (CPAs) and certified management accountants (CMAs).
Note: Students are advised that MAT 103 and MAT 115 or the Math Placement Test are prerequisites for certain courses within the major.

Students enrolled in the Adult Degree Programs (ADP) may substitute an accounting course at the 300 level or above in lieu of the internship, if approved by the department.
