VMT 115 Intro to Animal Management

Overview of the field of veterinary medicine, including ethical jurisprudence and medical terminology. Topics include: breeds, reproduction, genetics, nutrition and management of dogs, cats, horses and livestock species. Kennel assignments and animal care outside of class are mandatory. Three hours lecture; two hours laboratory. (4 sem. hrs)
