ESS223 Physiology Foundation - Training
This course focuses on underlying physiologic theories supporting proper diet and training techniques for the athlete. The physiologic basis for the development of muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, power and speed, along with cellular energy systems used in training and performance, will be addressed. Prerequisite: BIO 110 or 102. (2 semester hours)
