ESS 210 Functional Anatomy and Physiological Principles of Training

This course introduces the fundamentals of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. Emphasizes the anatomical and mechanical fundamentals of human movement and the physiological theories related to the development of muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, power and speed; along with cellular energy systems used in training and performance.  Prerequisites:  BIO 102 or BIO 110.
