HSC 230 Holistic Health

This course will provide an overview of holistic healthcare values/tenets that encompass health, wellness, well-being, healing, healthy coping, and transitional processes. It will enhance the concept of health and wellness beyond traditional Western Medicine techniques. The goal is to offer knowledge of a new facet to healthcare as it relates to a more integrative approach across the curriculum (nursing, health science, exercise science, vet therapies, equine therapies, STEM sciences, etc.)Prerequisites: NUR-113 and ESS-220. 4 semester hours.
